The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, has launched IndiaSkills 2025, a national competition to identify and nurture youth talent across key skill domains. Winners will represent India at WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai, China.
The Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) has been appointed as the Skill Owner and Nodal Body for Chemical Laboratory Technology Skill, playing a key role in strengthening youth skills, safety practices, and innovation in laboratory environments.
The competition aims to align India’s skill ecosystem with global standards and offers a platform for young professionals to shine. Winners are further trained to represent India at international stages such as the WorldSkills Competition (WSC) and WorldSkills Asia Competition (WSAC).

RESULT OF NATIONAL COMPETITION
The IndiaSkills National Competition 2025–26 was successfully conducted at ITPO, Greater Noida. A total of 8 candidates participated in the national-level competition.All participants were the top two winners from each of the three regional competitions (West, South, and East), selected based on their outstanding performance at the regional level.
